She was a cranky old lady who hated driving but drove as smoothly as a bowling ball down a newly waxed lane. Unfortunately, she reached her pins earlier than any of us could have predicted. I really could cry.
I think it's safe to say that Jennifer played a major hand in rolling me into who I am today. Not only did she get me where I needed to go, she did it with love. Her own sound-system was better than anything I could have installed. Her shock-absorbers were like a fluffed down-comforter supporting a sleepy chipmunk. Her turning radius made any parking situation seem like child's-play. In 2nd, she could haul neck-cracking ass. In 3rd, she made Mohonk Mountain seem like a traffic circle...daily.

She pulled more speeding tickets than she can count, the rebel.
If you weren't able to become familiar with Jennifer in her lifetime, you probably knew her by the rumors of green feet tattooed on either of her front passenger doors. BADASS.
If you were lucky enough to ever ride shotgun, you probably noticed that Jennifer was fond of cigarettes, the Little Mermaid, and feathers.
JENNIFER, so many memories. You will live on in my heart forever. I bet you're a little less cranky now... wherever or whoever you are.

Well...summer is over. Am I happy? sad? slightly constipated? Truthfully, I don't know what to make of my fickle emotions these days, which, I'd like to mention to those I'll be seeing soon, have expanded into a distended spectrum recently. I've been trying to pack for the past 6 or so hours, all I can do though is stare blankly at all my belongings that don't want to be torn away from my room. For some reason I feel like this time it won't make it back from the guest room status and appearance if I leave it bare... so I'm thinking I won't.
Aren't those times scary when you can actually feel yourself growing, other than in bed. I guess they always come around when your about to move or make a big change. I'm making a bunch of goals that will hopefully keep it going cause it's not exactly a comfortable feeling, but at least it's assuring. *Side note: Peaches (as in suckin' on my titties) just said "keep it goin"... WEIRD*
Some goals include: creating something everyday, running, starting a business, keeping in touch, getting sick-nasty at climbing, not buying tobacco... that last one probably won't happen buuuuut who knows...
With the passing away of my dear friend Tadd Gero, all I want to do now is seize every opportunity that displays itself and not let it go unappreciated. I've had this nagging regret in my mind that I took Tadd's beautiful and unique soul for granted, therefore I want to make sure that I never let that happen again. Thaddeus, I love you and know you are in a better place.
I can't wait to go back to the brick tundra that is Purchase campus and see my new friends who I have yet to get to know so well. I can't wait to walk into the Cliffs at Valhalla to see Maria behind the desk next to one of the insanely hot crush-masters that work there. I can't wait to start sharing my writing in a group again. I can't wait for the good (and bad) music at the Stood.
I miss my peeps from PDS and think about them every day. It's silly how spread out we've become. Us New Yorkers gotta hold shit down, ya herd?
I'm really gonna friggin miss my pets. Marley, Melvin, Jack Schmutz and Princess (I guess) are all in this ridiculous ultra cute phase. I think because they're all in the prime of their adolescence before things start going downhill, like uncontrollable bladders and weird fatty tumors. I think I'll probably miss my family too, but I'll most likely see them constantly in my nightmares and I go home all the time because I'm lame like that.
OK, I really can't procrastinate anymore. I hope this sap-fest didn't make you barf all in-between the keys of your laptop.

I find the garments at Sal's, a church, or my mother. I channel whatever ghost is locked inside each and visually preserve them with fabric marker, sharpy, and permanent dye pastel. I have also been known to interpret people's spirit animals. This is a series that despite my absurd laziness I was able to churn out this summer. I'll keep uploading them as I make them. I think I'm going to start taking personal orders... if anyone's interested. I can't do business for free anymore because I grew up or something.
